It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Thomas Ashley of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in South Bend, Indiana, who passed away on May 9, 2023, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Orville Ashley and Ruth Ashley (Otstot); his wife Virginia Ashley; his daughter Gail Ashley; his brothers, Orville "Hank" Ashley and Ron Ashley; and his aunt Gladys Otstot.

He is survived by: his children, Lynn Konopinski (Charles) of Granger, Richard Ashley of Dowagiac and Julie Ashley of Marshall; his grandchildren, Kristen DeDario (Vince), Nathan Konopinski and Jonathan Konopinski; and his great grandchildren, Dylan, Ella, Lily, Chloe and Liam DeDario. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions in Tom's name may be directed to South Wayne Community Church, Calvary Bible Church or Cass County Council on Aging.
