He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lear and Dorothy Lear Goodwin (Bucher); and his siblings, Dennis Roger Lear, Harold Lear, Ralph Kline and Jeanine Lakey.
He is survived by: his brothers, Rick Lear (Lori) of St. Joseph and David Lear of Dowagiac. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 19th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Clark Chapel (405 Center St, Dowagiac, MI 49047).
