It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sue Janke of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on June 5, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Sue Janke to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Archie Gard and Anne Gard (Schram); her husband Preceding; her granddaughter Aline Janke-Smith; and her brother Durwood Gard.

She is survived by: her children, Debra Johnson (Jim) of Dowagiac, David Janke (Anne) of South Bend, Doug Janke (Jamie) of Niles and Denise Clancy (Mike) of Berrien Springs; her grandchildren, Matthew Johnson (Teresa), Tara Bullock (Josh), Derek Janke (Abby), Alicia Polmounter (Kyle), Amanda Janke (Nick Little) and Michael Clancy; and her sister Kaye Berta (Don) of South Bend. She is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.
