She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Hensley and Ericka "Betty" Hensley (Doberstein); and her brother Paul Hensley Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Brenda Yenchus (Joe), Mike Kavanaugh and Deb Frank (Randy); her grandchildren, Brandon, Zack Yenchus, Jace and Sophia Frank; her brother Al Doberstein; and her cousin Linda Wanberg.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Starks & Menchinger Chapel (2650 Niles Rd, St Joseph, MI 49085). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Memorials in Shirley's name may be made to Hanson Hospice Center or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
