With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sharon Kay Bassett of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on February 22, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Iliff and Esther Iliff (Abbs); her husband Stan; her sister Joretta Middleton; and her stepsister Mardell Antisdel.
She is survived by: her children, Ken Bassett (Gayle) of Sister Lakes, Mich, Brenda Bogart of South Haven, Lori Bassett of Cassopolis and Ron Bassett (Tammy) of Sister Lakes; her grandchildren, Jennifer, Matthew, Brittany, Kayleen, Ryan and Corey; her great grandchildren, Darion, Senekah, Khiley, Camden, Maguire, Miles, Skylah and Sariyah; her sister Shirley Slaughter; and her stepsiblings, Jane Herman (Dan), Howard Barnum and Keith Barnum (Debra).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations be made to Caring Circle Hospice of Corewell Lakeland Health, St. Joseph.
