With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Irwin of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on December 17, 2021 at the age of 94. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth Irwin to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Fay Baldwin and Phyllis Baldwin (Jane); her husband George M. Irwin; her sons, Thomas and Donald; her siblings, Bonnie Parrish, James and William; and her grandson Kevin Billingham.

She is survived by: her children, Jerry (Jo-Ann) of Foley, AL, Susan Romane (Frank) of Punta Gorda, FL, Sally Billingham (Mitch) of Dowagiac and Gary of Dowagiac; her daughter-in-law Sharon Irwin of Brownsburg, IN; and her sisters, Marguerite Gotham, Florence Parrish (Larry), Karen Pike and Marylyn Stewart. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Cass County Council on Aging or Wounded Warriors Project.
