He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Short and Elizabeth Short (Elek). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Short; his children, Robert Short, Jr. (Charlene) and Shari Pond (David); his grandchildren, Joshua Bissenden, Zachary Bissenden (Jessica), Matthew Short (Amanda), Rebecca Nitka (Paul), Scott Pond (Chasity) and Shawn Pond (Jen); and his great grandchildren, Charlie, Tayib, Hannah, Ayden, Andrue, Marcus, Kaleb, Kelin, Blake and Harper.
Memorial contributions in Bob's name may be made to the Cassopolis V.F.W. Post 10704, the Seney Wild Life Refuge, or the Whitefish Pointe Light Station.
