He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hunsberger and Lola Franklin Hunsberger; and his siblings, Ron, Jerry Hunsberger, Betty Cox, Doris Loupee, Pat Raiford and Marianne Gould.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Hunsberger; his son Van Robert Hunsberger (Jill) of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and his granddaughter Rachel Hunsberger of Troy, Michigan..
