It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Donald Burton of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Niles, Michigan, who passed away on August 11, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Mead Burton and Helen Burton; and his siblings, Helen Dohm and Jim Burton. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Davis; his daughters, Zelda Cloud (Dallas) of Edwardsburg and Meghan "Molly" Kass (Carl) of Sioux Falls, SD; his grandchildren, R. J. Lee (Samantha), Micheala Moody (Jon), Angela Brown (Jeremy), J. R. Kass (Julie), Sara Adair (Devon), Riley Kass, Alex Kass and Gerrit Kass; and his sister Marjorie Soland (Rudy) of Niles. He is also survived by 11 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
