He was predeceased by: his parents, Burton Atkinson and Virginia Atkinson (Rittenhouse); and his brother-in-law David Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Bruce; his children, Krista Smith (Alan), Karen Harris (Paul), Robert Atkinson (Lisa Harbin) and Anne Storrosten of Norway; his granddaughters, Lauren Flory (James), Katie Barnett (Matt), Haley Smith (Matt Lowe), Abbie Harris (Tanner Sinclair), Kelsey Wright (Connor), Mollie Harris and Libbie Harris; his great grandchildren, Maddie Flory, JJ Flory, Sam Barnett, Ellie Barnett and Colson Sinclair; and his siblings, Beverly Gotmy (Mike), Thomas Atkinson (Susan Dobrich) and Barbara Runyon (Craig).
