He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Barger and Emma Christian Hoot (Ordiway); and his wife Darlene Barger. He is survived by: his children, Prent Barger (Lynn Clark) and Cheryl Whitmore (Tom); his grandchildren, David Clark, Ty Barger-Miller, Angie Groves, Jennifer Whitmore (Shawn), Felicia Whitmore (Mike), Douglas Barger, Christina Barger and Shandra Barger; and his siblings, Marilyn Mcamis, John Barnhart (Joann), Alice Forler (James) and Clifford Barnhart. He is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
