She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Carpenter and Mildred Carpenter. She is survived by: her husband Edward Newell; her sons, Dean Newell (Linda), Adam Newell (Jenny) and Carter Newell (Michelle); her grandchildren, Alyssa Newell, Julie Newell, Cassandra Crooks (Caleb), Emma Newell, Garrett Newell and Anna Newell; and her siblings, Roger Carpenter (Patty), Louise Leiendecker (Gary) and Eileen Raubenolt (Jesse).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sister Lakes Community Church - Dowagiac (67119 M-152, Dowagiac, MI 49047). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Sister Lakes Community Church (67119 M-152, Dowagiac, MI 49047).
