She was predeceased by: her parents, Earlie Murff and Lucille Murff (Thompson); her husband Willie J. Edwards; her children, Jesse Edwards, L. David Edwards (Maxine) and Lavernis Edwards; her siblings, Floyd Murff (Essie), Horace Murff (Genetta), Elizabeth Black (MP), Georgia Garrett (Levi), Mary Hawkins (Marshall), Jerlean Smith, Jeraldine Murff and Junior Coleman (Dorothy); her son-in-law Tony Farrow; her great grandchild Siera Klees; and her great great grandchild Ahnnaliyah Klees.
She is survived by: her children, Patricia Farrow of Dowagiac, Phyllis Burrell (Antony) of South Bend, Wayne Edwards of Dowagiac, Donald Edwards of Dowagiac, Alisa Jefferson of Dowagiac and Leslie "Faye" Edwards of Dowagiac; her daughter-in-law Geraldine Edwards (Juanita Cramer-Edwards); her grandchildren, Tonya Bradshaw, Tracy Haines, JoAnn Watkins, Deborah Brookins-Edwards, Sharene Green, James Edwards, Katarri Edwards, Leetarrus Edwards, Dawanna Molten, Ja'Leesa Edwards, Gary Hogan Jr., Ashley Newell, Levernace Ratcliff, Peggy Ward, Donald Hogan, Chantilla Boetang, Nikki Edwards, La'Toya Prude and Daniel Ibarra; her brothers-in-law, Henry "Jim" Murray and Athon Smith; her nieces and nephews, Connie Davis, Mattie Amos, Andre Murff and Rickey Murff; and her godchildren, Glennis Godbee, Dean Pompey, Earl Collins and Henry Ward. She is also survived by many extended family members and close friends.
