She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Gillespie and Ardis Gillespie (Root); her husband Sam Speck; and her daughter Deborah Lewandowski. She is survived by: her children, Don Haley, Jr. (Pam) and Darlene Thomas (Jimmie); her sisters, Sandy Adcock (Harvey), Thelma Smith, Nancy Bettner and Betty Speck; and her son-in-law Alan Lewandowski. She is also survived by grandchildren.
