He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Dodd and Lila Dodd (Cram); and his siblings, Tom, Terry, Chuck, Charlene, Pat and Marilyn.
He is survived by: his wife JoAn Powell; his children, Chris Cooper (Bob) of Dowagiac and Scott Dodd (Karen) of Cassopolis; his grandchildren, Stephanie Tucker (Steven), Kristy Mitchell (Ryan), Bryce Dodd, Marissa Dodd and Taylor Dodd; his great grandchildren, Channing, Jaxson, Kristopher, Calvin, Raelynn and Josie; and his siblings, Jim Dodd, Larry Dodd and Darlene Dodd.
