John H. Paxton Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John H. Paxton of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on May 26, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Glanton, Sr. Paxton and Jane Paxton (Scisco); his son Billy Paxton; and his siblings, Sarah Ann and Billy.
He is survived by: his children, John D. Paxton (Malinda), Jai Paxton (Laura), Patrice Paxton, Tyrek Paxton and Lori Hunt; his grandchildren, Angela, Michel, Dejuan, Jonelle, Aiyana of Gia, DJ and Jamin; his siblings, Glanton Paxton Jr., Patricia Paxton, Henry Scisco, Michelle Scisco, Ricky Bryant, Roy Bryant, Ida Robinson (Frank), Sheila Huff (George) and Gina Gates; and his friend Don Brown. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
