It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John H. Barnhart of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Alma, Michigan, who passed away on January 15, 2023, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Barnhart and Christina Barnhart (Ordiway); his daughter Karin Gruzalski; and his siblings, Merle Barger, Lloyd Barger, Glen Barnhart, Barb Bruner, Virginia Surface and Lorraine Criffield.
He is survived by: his wife Joan Barnhart (Boerman); his children, Kevin Barnhart, Michelle Zebell, Tami Andresen, Amy Hornburg Heilveil and Beth Porter; and his sisters, Marilyn McAmis and Alice Forler. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
