He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Murray and Chainey Murray (Mildred); his sons, Charles and Larry Murray; his daughter-in-law Roxsan Murray (Grady); and his siblings, John Murray, Joseph Murray, Frank Murray, Maggie Eliand, Lula Mae Johnson, Christine Gilispie and Ruby Lee McCluran.
He is survived by: his wife Mildred Murray (Murff); his sisters-in-law, Pauline Murray and Edna Murray; his daughter-in-law Eunice Murray (Larry); his grandchildren, Thomas Douglas, Angela Brown (Christopher), Lamont Douglas (Raqueel) and Regina Murray-Northrop; his great grandchildren, Lamont Douglas Jr. (LaChristian), Tyrae Williams, Christopher Murray, Taren Murray, Tiara Brown, Crystal Murray, Daven Brown and Lamarion Douglas; his great great grandchildren, Kai Douglas, Amadiano Reyna, Brooklynn Brown, Brantley Murray, Charles Grey, Caia Murray and Braylon Rutkowske; his nieces, Patricia Murray and Ollie Pearl Brown; his nephew Randy Murray; and his close friend Ben Pompey.
