It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Preston of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Eau Claire, Michigan, who passed away on July 2, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion Preston and Mildred Preston (Gassman); and his sister Jean Knapp. He is survived by: his wife Pat Preston; his son Brian Preston (Julie); and his siblings, Joy Kaler (Ward), Jack Preston (Barb), Milton Preston (Judy), Gray Preston (Linda) and Peter Preston (Linda). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
