Eugene Karnes Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Karnes of Dowagiac, Michigan, born in Alicia, Arkansas, who passed away on February 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Roberta Karnes; his parents, Ralph Karnes and Frankie Karnes; and his son Scott Karnes. He is survived by: his children, Robin Matlock (Carl), Rick Karnes, Tammie Peffley, Eugene "Gene" Karnes, Jr. (Brenda) and Kim Wilkins; and his pet Angel. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren, 10 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Gene's name may be made to the Cass County Animal Shelter or Cass County Cancer Services.
