He was predeceased by: his parents, Byron Rice and Betty Rice; his former wife Barbara Rice; and his sister-in-law Martha Rice. He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Dussel; his wife Reta Rice of Dowagiac; his children, Kari Watson (Darren) of Cassopolis and Owen Rice (Marci) of Cassopolis; his stepchildren, Stacy Wilkey of Battle Creek, Holly Wilkey of Atlanta, Georgia and Eric Wilkey (Tricia) of Battle Creek; his grandchildren, Savannah, Brady Lee and Chloe; his stepgrandsons, Austin Lee and Tyler; and his siblings, Darlene Roush (Steve) of Cassopolis, Paula Warner (Ron) of Cassopolis and Alan Rice of Cassopolis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
