It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deborrah Elizabeth Salmons (Dowagiac, Michigan), born in Blytheville, Arkansas, who passed away on August 8, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Betty Jo Brown (Blair); her grandparents, Alton, Virginia Brown, Bryant and Keturah Blair; and her in-laws, William and Maelene Salmons.
She is survived by: her father James Ralph Brown; her husband Bill Salmons; her siblings, Stanley Brown (Janice), Melissa Montgomery (Gary) and Angela DeVries (Ray); her children, Shanna Higgs (Rich Graff), Jennifer Cooley (Jason), Anthony Higgs (April) and Blair Higgs; her grandchildren, Elijah Hernandez, Aubry Hazlegrove, Paris Higgs, Devin Maness, Joseph Maggert, Madisyn Williams, Noah Bier, Taylor Higdon, Jullien Higgs and Elizabeth Higgs; and her nieces and nephews, Clinton Brown (Jami), Stephanie Sheltrown (Dwight), Kevin Montgomery, Brian Montgomery (Erika), April Peterson (Elli) and Michelle Hover (Brandon). She is also survived by many grand nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, contributions to help the family with the final expenses may be given to Bill Salmons.
