It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Johan Hanson of Dowagiac, Michigan, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Johan Hanson and Ruth Hanson; his grandchildren, Arrieonna Hanson and Kyttin Hanson; and his brother John Hanson.
He is survived by: his wife Marie Hanson of Dowagiac; his sons, Thomas Hanson (Rayann) of Dowagiac, Tristan Hanson (Cynthia) of Rochester and Brett Marshall (Kristen) of Louisiana; his grandchildren, Jaylin Scott, Nevaeh "Raye" Hanson, Dalanea Hanson, Thomas Hanson, Jr., Laila Scott of Zayden Hanson, JJ, Bentley Whitmire, Isaiah Hanson, Tristan Hanson, Jr., Alyssa Hanson, Kazzlynn Hanson, Koden Price, Kolten Price, Kezzamae Price, Harley Marshall, Juliette Marshall, Mya Marshall and Devon Marshall; his sister Christina Hanson of Stevensville; and his nephews, Justin and Ian.
The family prefers contributions in memory of David be made to a Go Fund Me in his honor, which was organized by his granddaughter Raye ldrnwmlnislmtfa.
