He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Mather and Lora Mather (Starret); his grandson Adam Mather; his sister Mary Isabell Mather; and his stepfather Don Boyle.
He is survived by: his wife Pat Mather; and his children, Bruce Mather, Jr., Patty Mather, Mike Mather (Paula) and Danny Mather (Patti). He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
