She was predeceased by: her husband Douglas Bassett; her mother Jennie Nye; and her brother Doyle Nye. She is survived by: her children, Cindie Nelson (Greg) and Julie Wilterink (John). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
