He was predeceased by: his wife Gertrude Deike. He is survived by: his children, Melvin A Jr. of Kerrville, TX and Sally Page (Ken) of Holland; his grandchildren, Frank Swecker (Kelly) of Fennville and Amy Bench (Dan) of Holland; and his great grandchildren, Max and Maggie Bench.
