We are sad to announce that on January 4, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Marilyn Batchelor (Douglas, Michigan), born in Owosso, Michigan. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Clayton L. Baughfman and Irma Belle Baughfman; her husband Dean; her sons, Jay (Andrea), Scott (Laura) and Dan (Wendy); her grandchildren, Danielle, Michael, Remi, Amanda, Adam, Madison and Avery; her great grandchildren, Reed, Vincent, Cooper, Makenzie, Maddox, Liliana and Ryder; and her brother Clayton Merwin Baughfman (Patricia).

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Community Church of Douglas or a charity of your choice.

“I don’t know what made me think of Mrs. Batchelor today but I looked her up. I’m sad to read of her passing. She was my 5th grade teacher in 1979/80 school year. She was kind, fair and left an positive impression on me. I am a teacher as well. I remember her presence to this day. It is interesting to learn she attended CMU, and coincidentally, so did I. I wish I could sit down and talk with her as an adult. I’m so sorry for your family’s loss. Tanya (Lanning) McNamara”
