He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Filkins and Lucille Filkins (Atkins); and his brother Don Filkins (Kenn Filkins). He is survived by: his wife Marylou; his children, Katie Cash, Josh Cash, Cody Beau Filkins and Sam Filkins; his brother Leroy Filkins (Cheryl); his sister-in-law Marti Filkins; and his sister Michelle Gavalya (Mark). He is also survived by Five granddaughters, three grandsons and numerous aunts and uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Davison Missionary Church (1481 N Gale Rd, Davison, MI 48423). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
