He was predeceased by: his parent Lewis Knikelbine; and his sister Rose Flanner. He is survived by: his parent Flossie Knikelbine (Thompson); his children, Bruce Knikelbine (Ann), Lisa Tanis (Rob) and Brei-Ann McFall (William); his siblings, Gus Knikelbine (Pat) and Betty Knikelbine "Boeskool"; and his grandchildren, Michael Knikelbine, Thomas Knikelbine, John Freeman, Rita Freeman and Charlotte McFall.
