We are sad to announce that on May 10, 2024, at the age of 82, Bonita Mae Vandyke of Douglas, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Bonita Mae's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Bonita Mae has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Daniel Howard and Freda Howard; her husband James VanDyke Sr.; and her brother Dan Howard (Pork). She is survived by: her children, Jamie Johnson (Dan), Jim VanDyke (Larra) and Julie VanDyke. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren.
