She is survived by: her sons, John DeGroot, Todd DeGroot and Tim DeGroot; her granddaughters, Sabrina and Janelle DeGroot; and her brother Dennis VanDelfzijl.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home – Dorr Chapel (4330 18th St, Dorr, MI 49323). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
