She was predeceased by: her husband Milo Genther; her grandson Scott Price; and her siblings, Harold, Gerald Verstrate, Wilma Vanderwal and Lois Verstrate.
She is survived by: her children, Jack L. Genther, Marlene Price (Peter), Terry Genther (Sally), Ken Genther (Diane), Donna Damber (Tom), Keith Genther (Cathy) and Elaine Price (Gareth); and her siblings, Robert VerStrate, Lyle VerStrate, John VerStrate, Virginia Quain and Barb Janovetz. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; 33 great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Ruth, contributions may be made to Grand Rapids Right to Life.
