He was predeceased by: his wife Delores; his daughter Mary Jean Koperski; and his grandson Jacob Koperski. He is survived by: his children, Steven Koperski (Valerie), Elaine Morris (Greg), Vincent Koperski (Colleen) and Richard Koperski (Diane); his grandchildren, Colleen Powell (Mike), Christine Gavin (Brian), Anna Walsh, Gregory Morris (Maggie), Steven Morris (Sydney), Benjamin Koperski, Katie Koperski, Henry, Sam and Jack Koperski; his great grandchildren, Ethan, Emily Powell, Maisie Morris and Blaise Gavin; his sisters, Marilyn Kaminski and Lois Ives; and his sister-in-law Lorraine Steffes. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Richard, contributions may be made to Saint Stanislaus Church in Dorr, MI or Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Grand Rapids, MI.
