He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Clarence Spears and Ada Belle Spears (Persinger); his wife Norma Spears; his children, Sandy Flynn (Jerry), Karen Hunt, Glenn Spears Jr. (Glenda Sue), Pam Cosgrove (Paul), Cheryl Spears, Jim Spears and Tonya Weststrate (Todd); his grandchildren, Matt Leiter (Lisa), Matt Flynn, Michelle Gunning, Chad Hunt (Lisa), Michael Spears, Kristina Olney (Joe), Angela Spears, Brad Cosgrove, Marshall Spears, Ella Palazzolo, Grady Palazzolo, Morgan Weststrate, Mikayla Weststrate, Tom Thurman, Sissy Roberts and Timothy Thurman; his siblings, Larry Spears and Pat Hyson; and his fathers-in-law, Bruce Hansum (Ruth) and Don Jackson. He was also cherished by 19 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
