He was predeceased by: his wife Kathy Huff; his sister Darlene Dykstra (Loy); and his parents, Ronald Huff and Vera Huff. He is survived by: his children, Douglas Huff, Brenda Sikkema (Bob), Terry Huff (Jessica), Brent Huff (Stephanie) and Melissa Hiemstra (Al); and his siblings, Darwin Huff (Doris) and Barbara Zuidersma (John). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; one great-grandson, many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Kubiak-Cook Funeral Home (Dorr Chapel) (4330 18th St, Dorr, MI 49323). A celebration of life was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
