He was predeceased by: his father Kirt Hart; and his uncle James Lacey. He is survived by: his wife Sarah Hart; his children, Gabrielle Postma (Brandon), Jared Hart and Kameron Hart; his brother Brian Hart (Sarah); his aunt Dianne Lacey; and his mother Linda Hart.

In honor of Gary and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Harbor Humane Society.
