He was predeceased by: his son David Gries. He is survived by: his wife Betty Gries; and his children, Dennis Gries, Doug Gries, Don Gries and Dawn Pena (Pedro). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
