She was predeceased by: her husband Willard Zeerip; and her parents, Gerald VanDam and Joy VanDam. She is survived by: her children, Mandi Phillips (Pete) and Jamie O'Connor (Shawn); her grandchildren, Kayla Phillips and Aideen O'Connor; her siblings, Paul VanDam (Betty) and Shirley Dewys; and her siblings-in-law, Russ Zeerip (Fran), Jane Rockhold, Mary Sal (Don), Marcia Zeerip, Mary Jo Zeerip and Joan Zeerip. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
In memory of Dottie and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to In Touch Ministries or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
