She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald Atkinson; her parents, Joseph Idziak and Irene Idziak; and her sister Judy Brown. She is survived by: her children, Claudette Hustosky (Bob), Claude Wierckz (Cindy), Bernie Wierckz (Julie), Dan Wierckz (Lori), Bob Wierckz (Michelle Klunder), Bill Wierckz (Christina) and John Wierckz (Lisa). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews, and friends.

In honor of Cheryl, memorial contributions may be made to Wings of Hope Hospice.
