She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Ostlender and Maria Ostlender; her husband George R. Alger of Midland; her grandson Jordan Alger; and her son-in-law Michael Sloat.
She is survived by: her children, Peter Alger (Nikki) of LaValle, WI., Russell Alger (Monica) of Dollar Bay, MI. and Christine Sloat (late Michael) of Reedsburg, WI.. She is also survived by Grandmother ("Nannie") to eleven grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
