He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Ammarman and Betty Ammarman; his brother Larry; and his siblings-in-law, Curt McMillin, Candy Ammarman and Bill Amey.
He is survived by: his wife Joy Ammarman; his sons, Dylan Ammarman (Angela Walker), Mike Van Fossen (Alyssa) and Ben Van Fossen; his siblings, Karen Ammarman (Jim Paquet) and John Ammarman; and his grandchildren, Harper, Isabel, Mia and Coleman. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Palmer Bush & Jensen Family Funeral Home Delta Chapel (6301 W St Joseph St, Lansing, MI 48917). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family asks to make donations in Scott's name to the Special Olympics Area 8.
