He was predeceased by: his parents, Noble Whitney and Gladys Whitney (Stevens); his stepson H. Dale Hudson; and his sister Lucille Krepps. He is survived by: his wife Opal Whitney; his pet Jessie; his daughters, Diane Whitney and Janice Jensen; his stepdaughters, Melody Sich (Michael), Teresa DeWitt and Valerie Kalahiki; his grandchildren, Jeremy Whitney (Pam), Donny Jensen (Brooke), Justin Smith (Molly), Chase Dickens (Jennifer Baker), Jonathan Sich (Kim) and Olivia Kalahiki; his great grandchildren, Novalee, Lance, Isaiah, Logan, Daniel, Nathan, Sophia, Mikayla, Olivia, Jackson, Ellie and Henry; and his sisters, Nancy Brower and Anna Bushard.
