He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Herbert Bibbings and Margery Alice Bibbings (Whitbeck); his sister Alice; and his brother-in-law Dennis Root. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Root of Kalamazoo; his children, Amy Dickinson of Grand Ledge, Ava Bibbings of Dimondale and Jason Bibbings (Amy) of Ohio; and his grandchildren, Max and Mira Bibbings of Ohio.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, in memory of George Bibbings.
