The passing of Shirley E. Ruhlig of Dexter, Michigan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 24, 2025. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Tyer and Lillian Tyer (Dubke); her husband Martin Ruhlig, Jr.; her daughter Diane Lahrman; and her sister Hilda Block (Alfred).
She is survived by: her children, Martin Ruhlig III (Ann), Daniel Ruhlig (Teka) and Nancy Ruhlig; and her son-in-law Bill Lahrman (Beth). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Staffan-Mitchell Funeral Home (901 N Main St #9487, Chelsea, MI 48118). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family or to St. Paul Lutheran Church in Ann Arbor.
