She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Tyer and Lillian Tyer (Dubke); her husband Martin Ruhlig, Jr.; her daughter Diane Lahrman; and her sister Hilda Block (Alfred).
She is survived by: her children, Martin Ruhlig III (Ann), Daniel Ruhlig (Teka) and Nancy Ruhlig; and her son-in-law Bill Lahrman (Beth). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
