He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Mast and Emma Mast (Berner); his wife Selma Herter; his stepmother Anne Mast; his sisters, Kathryn Waggoner (Wayne), Jean Reardan (John) and Joan Toney; and his granddaughter Lauren Stanfield.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Jones, Janet Stanfield (Richard) and Ronald Mast (Marilyn); his grandchildren, Michelle Hedding (Kirk), Kyle Jones, Courtney Thompson (Nick), Jason Mast (Debbie) and Dylan Stanfield; his great grandchildren, Emma, Isabelle, Madeline, Lilyan, Ben, Jacob, Liam and Charlotte; his sisters, Mary Ann Hansen (Gary) and Linda Kociba (Ron); and his brother-in-law Stanley Toney. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
