He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Knapp and Vivian Knapp; his wife Patricia Knapp; his sister Joann Brennan; his brothers-in-law, Tom Deal and Bill Brennan; his son-in-law Scott Bishop; and his grandson-in-law Eric Steven Knapp.
He is survived by: his sister Nancy; his children, Robb Knapp of Sylvania Ohio, Tim Knapp (Kim) of Milan, MI, Karen Kline (Scott) of Ann Arbor, MI and Steven Knapp (Vicki) of East Amherst, NY.; and his grandchildren, Lucy, Ava, Adam, Celeste, Emily, Vivian, Nadia, Ben, Tristan and Allie.
