He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Faitel and Elizabeth Faitel (Lebert); and his brothers, Tommy Faitel and Ronald Faitel. He is survived by: his wife Judith Faitel; his sons, Raymond "Chip" Faitel IV (Rachel) and Andrew James Faitel (Sara); his siblings, Sharon Mascot (Don), Jim Faitel (Kathy) and Terriann Holgate (Tom); and his grandchildren, Kateri Faitel, Clare Faitel, Benjamin Faitel, Emmanuel Faitel, Charles Faitel, Serena Faitel and Ariana Faitel.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church-Dexter (6805 Mast Rd, Dexter, MI 48130). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Joseph Catholic Parish or St. Louis Center, in Chelsea, Michigan.
