He was predeceased by: his parents, Lowell Cochran and Edith Cochran (Fleener); his siblings, Charles Cochran and Dea Hall; and his brothers-in-law, Pete Hall and Wilber Umberger.
He is survived by: his wife Catherine Elaine Butler; his children, Aaron Cochran (Sandra) of Aurora, Ryan Scherz (Tonya Horvath) of Belleville, Deanna Rittinger (William) of Pinckney and Stacey Allport-Ging of Ann Arbor; his grandchildren, Navi Allport of Clinton Township, Elinor Kaminski, Mark Culp, Jr. (Robin), Alyssa Garlington (Jackson), Kimberly Gibson (David), Jessica Howson (Jonathan), Megan Rittinger-Scott (Jared), Taylor Wiley (Nathan), Alexis Pardo (Steven), Mackenzie Cochran, Kyle Cochran, Elijah Scherz (Lauren) and Lucy Scherz; and his siblings, John Cochran (LuAnn) and Barb Umberger. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cole Funeral Chapel (214 E Middle St, Chelsea, MI 48118). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
