It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary A. Cornils of Dexter, Michigan, born in Carroll, Iowa, who passed away on March 29, 2022, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Reiff and Anna Mae Reiff (Knott); her daughter Carol F. Cornils; her brothers, James Reiff and Robert Reiff; and her son-in-law Terry Edwards.
She is survived by: her husband James M. Cornils; her children, James, Jr. of Dexter, Allison Edwards of Ann Arbor, Peter Cornils (Pauline) of Battle Creek, MI, Patrick (Leslie Robles) and Steven (Rebecca Biederman) of Portland, OR; her grandchildren, Alex Edwards (Adrian Griffin) of Lakewood, OH, Tristan Edwards of Las Vegas, NV, Camille Cornils of Chicago, IL, Miles Cornils of Battle Creek, MI and Daniel Cornils of Portland, OR; and her siblings, William Reiff (Judy) of Omaha, NE and Peg Shelton (Ernie) of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to either St. Joseph Catholic Church, Faith in Action, or the Encore Musical Theater in Dexter.
