With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Martha Ann Darr of Dexter, Michigan, born in Shamrock, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 25, 2024 at the age of 89. She was predeceased by: her parents, Edward Adde Turnbow and Fern Turnbow (Martin); and her husband Richard Darr. She is survived by: her children, Norma (Donny Heller), Ron (Sandra Darr), Gordon Darr and Tim (Deva Darr); her siblings, Holice Turnbow, Marilyn Copeland, Nancy and Jimmie Simpson; her grandchildren, Sandra, Todd Genske, Becky, Nick Houle, Melissa, Matt Groth, Charlotte Darr, Oliver Jiang, Caroline Darr, Hailey, Larry Nunamaker, Brian, Julia Darr, Richard Darr III, Mark and Kara Plum; and her great grandchildren, Marissa Genske, Alison Genske, Lillie Nunamaker, Laynie Nunamaker, Clara-Mae Plum, Alan Groth, Charles Thomas Plum II and Walter Groth. She is also survived by her family and friends.
During the Covid lockdown she would put together little gift bags for them and then deliver them to their porch.
